Scouting Mike Glennon
A week ago quarterback Mike Glennon and Westfield High in Chantilly, Va., was hosting rival Chantilly High in one of the area's biggest match-ups of the season. It was Chantilly who ended Westfield's season last year in the state playoffs. Both teams were undefeated going into the game, and The Wolfpacker was there to catch the action.
On the very first offensive play of the game for Chantilly, quarterback Austin Decker took an option to the left side and busted loose for a 70-plus yard touchdown run to put the Chargers up 7-0. However, Glennon would lead a scoring drive on the ensuing possession, culminating with a one-yard touchdown pass, to even the score. Chantilly would score its second touchdown of the game in the second quarter, and after a failed extra point they led 13-7. It would be their last lead of the game.
