Cox is Auburn's comeback kid
Just one week ago, the starting quarterback job was taken away from Brandon Cox. But now, after an inspiring performance off the bench against New Mexico State, the fifth-year senior is once again Auburn's starter.
Cox summed up his feelings, saying simply, "It's good to be back."
Both AU head coach Tommy Tuberville and offensive coordinator Al Borges said Sunday that Cox would be the starting quarterback when AU travels to Florida next Saturday.
It's quite a turnaround for Cox, who was benched after throwing six interceptions in the first three games. But losing the starting job he's held for over two years ended up having a positive affect.
