KentStateReport.com What Struggles? Aside from the season-opener at Iowa State, Kent State has had its share of troubles starting with the second half at Kentucky when the Golden Flashes were outscored 42-6 and the first half at home against Delaware State last Saturday when the Flashes needed a late touchdown to take a 7-0 lead into the locker room.
But, Kent State head coach Doug Martin isn't concerned because he knows what his team is capable of.
"(It's) not much (of a concern)," Martin said. "We played a good complete game at Iowa State; we really played well just about the whole football game there. We haven't had just a disaster other than the second half on defense at Kentucky. I think all that will take care of itself."
