Iowa State lands needed 2008 big

CycloneReport.com Iowa State was ahead of the recruiting curve on several of what proved to be the top big men in the national basketball class of 2008. Hopefully that is the case as well with the Cyclones' latest verbal commitment who made his pledge to join the ISU program on Monday afternoon.
Justin Hamilton, a 6-foot-11, 220-pound three-star center and power forward from Alpine (Utah) Lone Peak High School, talked to Iowa State head coach Greg McDermott on Monday. Hamilton said he finished his school day and squeezed in a workout before calling McDermott with his decision.
