Junior quarterback checks out Irish

IrishIllustrated.com Notre Dame's opener against Georgia Tech didn't turn out as planned, but the weekend still let the Irish host several of the top junior prospects.
Danny O'Brien, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound quarterback from Kernersville, N.C., was one of the visiting prospects.
"The game was crazy," O'Brien said. "The minute I set foot on campus it was crazy and the fans were in the game all the way; I really liked that."
O'Brien first caught Notre Dame's attention earlier this summer.
"I was at the adidas Elite Camp at North Carolina State and coach (Bill) Lewis saw me play," O'Brien said. "He talked to my coach and invited me up for their one-day camp."
