Scouting West Virginia
A national television audience will be watching on ESPN, Byrd Stadium will be packed with what is expected to be one of its most frenzied crowds in years, and the fourth-ranked West Virginia Mountaineers will be standing on the opposing sideline.
The Maryland Terrapins are looking to thrust themselves back into the national college football picture, and Thursday night's game provides the perfect opportunity.
Upsetting the Mountaineers, a two-touchdown favorite and a legitimate national title contender, won't be easy as coach Ralph Friedgen and his Terps look to snap a three-game losing streak against West Virginia.
