Moore hopes to start streak
Ralph Friedgen said yesterday that in the early years Dre Moore "used to wear me out."
Now opposing offenses are the ones getting worn down.
Saturday in the Terps opener against Villanova, the senior defensive tackle had a career night with three tackles and two sacks in the Terps 31-14 win.
For the first time in his years at College Park, Moore has seemingly figured out the nuances of what it takes to be a Division I defensive linemen.
And he has grown up from a happy-go-lucky, immature kid to a possible first round NFL pick.
Friedgen said Moore used "to have trouble getting out of his comfort zone," but no longer.
