Reiff wraps up busy summer
Future Hawkeye Riley Reiff has had a busy summer with Legion baseball and national wrestling tournaments, but now looks forward to getting back to the football field later this month. The 6-foot-6, 235-pound Reiff, who was Iowa's first commitment back in April, starts practice at Parkston High School on August 13.
Reiff, who plays defensive end and tight end for Parkston, traveled to Fargo, North Dakota, a week ago to compete in his other top sport, wrestling, where he is a three-time state champion.
After committing to the Iowa football program back in April over scholarship offers from Nebraska and Minnesota, Reiff says contact from other schools has tailed off, which is fine by him, as he gets ready for his senior year of high school.
