Bryant says his school is LSU
The LSU coaching staff is set to pick up its third commitment from a defensive back as Peachtree Ridge High School cornerback Derrick Bryant has announced his intentions to play his college football for Les Miles and the Tigers.
"I am going to be an LSU Tiger," Bryant said. "I really have to say when I made my visit down there, which really separated them from the rest of the schools that I was interested in. I really learned a lot about the school and the campus. They have a great academic center and just great facilities."
The 6-1, 186-pound Bryant is a three-star prospect according to the latest Rivals.com rankings and is rated as the 23rd best cornerback in the country and the 27th best
overall player in the State of Georgia.
Recruited to LSU by Special Teams coach Bradley Dale Peveto, Bryant said that he already has good relationships with several LSU coaches.
