Big changes for Michael Crabtree
With the Red Raiders set to report next Monday and begin practices the day after, preparation for 2008 season is nearly underway.
One player on the roster has some lofty expectations heading into camps and is finally ready for what life is like on Saturday's in real game action.
But, there might be less of Michael Crabtree to root for than there was when spring ended. Sources indicate that Crabtree weighed just over 220-pounds when spring ended and he's now closer to 205-pounds and his speed is now more of a factor.
"Every receiver that plays significant reps in this offense has to be in top shape, and I felt like Mike needed to trim up after spring ball to help his endurance and speed," said outside receivers coach Lincoln Riley, referring to Crabtree's weight loss.
