Could LSU offer Jefferson?
LSU fans are very familiar with at least one quarterback with the last name of Jefferson that the Tigers are after for the Class of 2008.
From all indications though coming out of this week's camp on campus, they may have to start familiarizing themselves with another.
Destrehan pro-style quarterback Jordan Jefferson is turning heads at the LSU camp this week. The 6-4, 200-pound quarterback is a three-star prospect according to the Rivals.com rankings. Rated as the nation's 15th-best pro-style quarterback and the 14th-best overall player in the State of Louisiana, Jefferson passed for nearly 1700 yards (1,666) during his junior season with 20 touchdowns.
With Ole Miss the only school thus far to offer the Wildcat signal-caller, Jefferson said he headed to the LSU camp with something to prove and has thus far made his message felt.
