Tar Heels get second 2008 commitment
Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith wide receiver Todd Harrelson has been favoring North Carolina ever since a camp visit to Chapel Hill earlier this month. On Thursday, the wide receiver chose to pledge his loyalty to the Tar Heels, becoming the program's second verbal commitment in the Class of 2008.
Harrelson indicated that he came to a firm decision on Wednesday night, after a sit-down discussion with his mother and high school coach.
Harrelson made his lead recruiter, Kenny Browning, aware of his decision to commit to the Tar Heels on Thursday, who was naturally excited to hear the news. The senior wide receiver is looking forward to telling head coach Butch Davis the good news personally when he returns from a vacation.
