Leaders are emerging for UT's 2008 class
When recruiting classes take form as early as this year's Texas Longhorn group has, it is fairly common for at least one prospect to step up into a leadership role and make sure that all of the other commitments are on the same page.
Last year, it was Tray Allen that assumed the role, with the five-star offensive lineman keeping touch with all the other commitments and making sure all of the commitment formed a strong bond before they ever reported to Austin.
This year, after a camp appearance by all of the Longhorns' early commitment (as well as a couple of Texas' prospects), a couple of names have jumped out as possible leaders. If one listens to the words of the 20 Texas commitments, it seems that wide receiver Dan Buckner and defensive back Aaron Williams are to guys around which the other commits can rally.
