Jersey athlete interested in Vanderbilt
Bridgewater (NJ) Immaculata standout Mike Kuhn made a popular name for himself at this point last year when the 5-foot-10, 187-pound athlete busted on to the scene with a Ultimate 100 Camp MVP honor at the national underclassmen combine.
Since the event, Kuhn has been a regular at other subsequent camps as well as on the radar of many BCS programs nationwide.
One program that has long been interested in the Spartans two-way player is Vanderbilt of the SEC. Kuhn recently took a trip down to Nashville and came away impressed.
"I was just at the Vanderbilt camp on Saturday," Kuhn told VandySports.com on Thursday. "I think I actually did really, really well in coverage and working with the defensive backs. I was surprised by them timing us on the forty, I was dissapointed that I only ran a 4.5, but besides that I was happy with it all.
