Zeller gets offer from Tar Heels

TarHeelIllustrated.com CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Washington (IN) center Tyler Zeller has plenty of college choices as he prepares for his senior year of high school. The 6-11, 215-pound big man got a new scholarship offer this weekend, coming from North Carolina.
Although the UNC coaches were not allowed to engage Zeller face-to-face on Friday, given the rules regarding contact at specific AAU tournaments, the Tar Heel staff called the center prospect and let him know they wanted him in Powder Blue.
At the moment, nine schools are in play for the Indiana big man. The nine are North Carolina, Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame, Iowa, Iowa State, Kentucky, Tennessee and Kansas.
