Rivals100 offensive tackle Vinston Painter received a visit from Virginia Tech's Frank Beamer last week. What did the 6-foot-6, 317-pounder out of Norfolk (Va.) Maury think about Tech's head coach stopping by?

"I bumped into him and got to meet him briefly," he said. "It was cool, he came by during lunch and everybody was stopping by meeting with him.

"Basically, my coach told me he came by to see how I'm doing. He also brought a brochure by about their camp on June 9th. I'm not sure if I'll go, but I'm considering it."
