Another successful scrimmage
Stanford continues to impress during spring scrimmages and on Saturday, the Cardinal had another opportunity to show what the team could do. After the team's Alumni game, Stanford had a 90-minute scrimmage.
Head coach Jim Harbaugh likes what he saw.
"I like a lot of what our offense is doing," said Harbaugh. "But we have to tighten down on our execution. There were too many penalties and turnovers today, but we did a lot of good things to build on. There's an ebb and flow to practices. Yesterday, I thought the defense won. Today, it was the offense."
Considering how sharp quarterback T.C. Ostrander looked, Harbaugh has reason to be happy. Ostrander threw two touchdowns, but not to be outdone, backup Alex Loukas also threw two touchdowns.
It goes without saying that the quarterback position is extremely important for Stanford this season and so far so good this spring.
