Rivals100 QB gets the offer he was waiting for
With no quarterbacks signed in the most recent recruiting class, this position has become a position of need for the class of 2008. Tino Sunseri and D.C. Jefferson are two early targets that are being most frequently mentioned, but on Tuesday a new name joined that list. Rivals100 dual-threat quarterback E.J. Manuel of Virginia Beach (VA) Bayside spoke with a couple Seminole coaches and received some interesting news.
Jimbo Fisher and Manuel spoke quite a bit and they mainly focused on how the 6-foot-6 and 205-pounder, who passed for 1,973 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior, could make an impact at Florida State.
Florida State has a lot of company when it comes to scholarship offers. Pretty much every school up and down the east coast has extended offers but Manuel wasn't willing to admit to one offer standing above the rest.
