A&M finishes spring drills, M&W game up next
Thursday the Texas A&M football team hit the practice fields for the last time before playing in the annual Maroon and White game Saturday at 2 p.m. at Kyle Field.
But even with the end of spring in sight, the Aggies were getting after things Thursday on the practice fields adjacent from Kyle Field.
Thursday the Aggies took part in more 7-on-7 drills and one-on-one drills, and then finished the day with situational scrimmages. With Thursday being the last day of spring drills, here is a look at how the spring has gone before the Maroon and White game.
Running back Cornell Tarrant continues to have a very solid spring. He is a threat to take it to the house every time he touches the ball, and he rarely goes down for negative yardage even if met by numerous defenders in the backfield.
But the one thing keeping Tarrant from becoming a starter is sophomore Mike Goodson who has constantly exhibited the speed that makes him one of the most electrifying backs in the nation.
