Auburn leads for big-play wide receiver

AuburnSports.com Big-play receivers are always in high demand by college recruiters and Prattville (Ala.) High wideout DeKendrick Moncrief certainly fits the bill.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder is coming off a huge junior season in which he hauled in 51 receptions for 1,001 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also had an 84-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
"I like to make big plays," Moncrief simply stated.
Moncrief will have to make those big plays from a new position as a senior. He's moving to quarterback where he'll take over for Vanderbilt signee Larry Smith.
Moncrief expects a smooth transition.
