Jordan Taylor must really love his future team, because the 2008 University of Wisconsin verbal commitment spent Valentine's Day as part of a split crowd at Williams Arena on Wednesday night.

Taylor, who hails from Bloomington, Minn., took in the Badgers' 75-62 victory while avoiding snubs from Gopher fans and hearing nothing but positive comments from fans wearing red.

Prior to Wednesday's game, the Gophers, despite losing three in a row, had started to play with more urgency, which was evident against the Badgers. Taylor noticed the Gophers newfound competitiveness, too, commenting on the rivalry atmosphere in Minneapolis on Wednesday night.
