Visit better than Mason expected
Nashville (Tenn.) Pearl-Cohn 6-6, 215-pound wide receiver Rashad Mason hit the national recruiting scene late in the process, but he quickly became one of the most coveted prospects in the country. This past weekend, he took his second official visit of the process to Michigan and said the trip was not exactly what he expected it to be.
In his senior year, Mason caught 26 passes for 610 yards and nine touchdowns. He was injured during his junior season and did not play that year, a factor that played a part in his recruitment getting off to a late start. He is also a standout on the basketball floor for Pearl-Cohn.
