Whittaker, West runs by the East in Orlando
ORLANDO, Fla. - All the talk this week at the West team practice was about getting the ball to the playmakers. They certainly did that at Saturday's East Meets West All-American game this Saturday and it made all the difference.
West quarterbacks G.J. Kinne, BJ Coleman and Brock Mansion got the ball in the hands of their playmakers like running back Foswhitt Whittaker to take home a 35-25 victory over the East.
Whittaker, the 5-foot-9, 187-pound future Longhorn from Pearland, Texas, certainly didn't disappoint against a quality East defense. Neither did his future teammates Brandon Collins and Malcolm Williams, who are also committed to the Horns.
