Chaisson and Arkansas a good fit?
The world of recruiting is filled with much uncertainty, but Arkansas will pick up a new quarterback commitment on the Jan. 12 official visit weekend if everything goes as planned.
The Razorbacks have clearly turned their attention to quarterbacks who excel in running and throwing the ball, and names like Fort Smith (Ark.) Northside's Kodi Burns, Durham (NC) Hillside's Mike Johnson and Beaumont (Texas) Westbrook's Joe Chaisson have emerged.
Burns committed to Auburn over the Razorbacks and chose not to visit the Hogs. He is basically out of the picture. Johnson has already taken an official visit, and it appears as though the Hogs are going to continue to evaluate their position with him. Chaisson, the No. 21 dual-threat quarterback prospect in the country, will visit on the Jan. 12 weekend and commit if offered a scholarship.
