Bryan making 'back up plans'
NC State commit George Bryan is closing the door to other schools just yet, but at the same time he's excited about the hiring of Tom O'Brien to take over the Wolfpack football program.
Bryan, a three-star tight end from Wilmington's New Hanover High School, committed to NC State in April. After the firing of Chuck Amato in late November he decided to consider other schools as "back up plans." The 6-6. 250-pounder says NC State is still his top choice, though he plans to take other visits.
"It's still NC State, but I am going to go check out other schools just to have back up plans," Bryan told The Wolfpacker at Shrine Bowl practice in Spartanburg, S.C. "I am probably going to visit Clemson."
