Ian Harris goes in-depth on decision
After weeks of consideration, San Antonio tight end Ian Harris finally went public with his decision to commit to Missouri earlier this week. Harris told PowerMizzou.com exactly what it was that went into that decision.
The Tigers' use of their tight ends didn't hurt either. Chase Coffman was a freshman all-American last year and set the school record for touchdowns by a tight end with eight this season. Martin Rucker was recently selected as the all-Big 12 tight end by league coaches.
Tiger coaches view the 6-foot-3, 217-pound Harris as the next in line to put up big numbers at tight end for the Tigers. While the San Antonio native has already made his official visit to Mizzou, he hopes to get another up-close look at his future team very soon. Missouri is a candidate to play in the Alamo Bowl, in Harris' home town.
