She says: Wow! I think my heart is just returning to normal after that
post-Thanksgiving special provided by the Beavers (and it was more fulfilling
than any Nordstrom's holiday sale!) I really don't know what can be said about
this offensive unit that hasn't already been said, but for them to show the
heart and emotion that they showed during the second two thirds of the season
is nothing short of amazing.
As an offensive unit they never gave up in the rain and cold of Friday's contest,
and quarterback Matt Moore's march down the field in the final
minutes was one of his finest performances in orange and black. He culminated
his Reser Stadium career with poise and confidence and was rewarded with the
memory of being carried off the field on the shoulders of his classmates. Moore
solidified his position in Beaver folklore and will always be a Beaver.
I won't bore you with gushing praise or be too critical of the fact that I really
thought this year's offense would score more touchdowns. The Beavers hung together
and did what they needed to do for the win, period. And it was a win against
the Ducks, what could be better?
