Evans drops 32 in front of Williams
DURHAM, N.C. - For someone that has an injured ankle, junior phenom Tyreke Evans sure didn't play like it Saturday night.
In his first game back after missing a couple weeks of action, Evans scored a game-high 32 points in leading Aston (PA) American Christian to an 85-77 victory over Durham (N.C.) Mount Zion in the championship game of the Bull City Classic on the campus of North Carolina Central University.
"It was my first game back; I had an injury back at home, so in my first game out, I wanted to go out there and perform, and show people that it's my time," said Evans, who earned Tournament Most Valuable Player honors.
