Kentucky makes nice impression on OL
Kentucky has put itself in strong contention for one of the Palmetto State's top offensive line prospects after Kyle Fischer made Lexington the first stop on his slate of five official visits.
"I went last weekend when they played Louisiana-Monroe," said Fischer, a 6-foot-5, 288-pound standout from Columbia (S.C.) Spring Valley. "It was my first official visit, and I had a great time.
"I felt like I really connected with the players and coaches. I enjoyed the atmosphere before and during the game. They have really good fan support. And I liked how they stressed academics. The C.A.T.S. center is a really nice setup to help you with your education. That's important because academics come first with me."
