Road to recovery: Josh Oglesby
This past Thursday, St. Francis, Wis., and University of Wisconsin five-star offensive tackle verbal commitment Josh Oglesby had surgery to repair a right knee injury sustained in a September game vs. Greendale.
Monday night, the 6-foot-7, 315-pounder caught up with BadgerBlitz.com to talk about his recent surgery and the direction he is headed through his recovery.
Here is this site's interview with Oglesby, who is ranked the No. 6 prospect overall and the top offensive lineman in the Class of 2007, according to Rivals.com.
How did your surgery go?
Oglesby: "From what I gathered it went well. It went perfect, I guess. The only thing that they found that they weren't expecting was there was a little bit of meniscus damage. But just a little bit and they got that cleaned up when they went in.
"The funny thing is all I remember one of the doctors congratulated me on going to Madison and said, 'Good luck in Madison' and then I was out."
