Tampa, Fla., Jefferson quarterback Stephen Garcia has racked up over 1,700 yards passing and 22 total touchdowns through eight games this season, in leading his team to a 7-1 record. His performance was good enough to be selected for a national all-star game to be played in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on January 4th.

"I'm very excited about it," the 6-foot-3, 215-pound Garcia said. "I had gotten a letter about it, and then they called me just a little while ago to let me know I'd made it. I told them I'm in. Fort Lauderdale is only about a 45-minute flight, so it's a great location for me."
