It wasn't pretty. Far from it.

When South Carolina came to Auburn a year ago, the Gamecocks couldn't do much of anything right.

Auburn scored five first-half touchdowns and added two more scores and a field goal in the second half to take a 48-0 lead. It wasn't until six minutes were left in the game did the Gamecocks finally sniff the end zone and avoid Steve Spurrier's first SEC shutout.
