With Auburn losing all three of its kickers this year to graduation, the Tigers needed to sign one in the 2007 class.

On Saturday, they filled that need when Fort Lauderdale, Fla., St. Thomas Aquinas' Wes Byrum committed to the Tigers.

Byrum, 6-foot-3, 195 pounds, gave the Tigers his pledge Saturday morning while on an official visit.

"It feels great," said Byrum of committing to Auburn. "I'm excited. It's big-time football. The (SEC) is great. I'm really looking forward to being an Auburn Tiger."
