Good news for Georgia Receivers
Kelly Quinlan
UGASports.com Georgia got some good news and some bad news during practice Wednesday. With several wide receivers recovering from injuries, Georgia was hoping to have at least a couple of the injured players back for Colorado game Saturday.
The bad news is that senior wide receiver Mario Raley did not practice for the third straight day after suffering an elbow bursa sac injury and will not play against Colorado according to head coach Mark Richt.
"He is doubtful right now, I would not say he is all the way out, but he has not worked," said Richt. "He does not look like he will play right now, but the swelling in his elbow could go down overnight and he could get a little work tomorrow and play."
The good news for Georgia fans is that sophomore Mohamed Massaquoi and junior Mikey Henderson both recovering from hamstring injuries should be ready to go for Colorado.
"Right now Mikey (Henderson) would be probable as would Mohamed (Massaquoi), but we are not 100 percent sure," said Richt. "I think they will be able to go, but Mikey will not have any punt returns this game."
