Auburn tailback Kenny Irons missed practice Tuesday and could sit out Saturday's non-conference matchup against Buffalo. The SEC's leading rusher, averaging 107.3 yards per game, is suffering from a sprained ankle and sprained toe.

Even if the senior does start his 10th consecutive game, Irons will likely be limited in his carries, meaning a lot of extra work for backup Brad Lester.
