Dandy Dozen star adds second offer
South Panola has established itself as one of the premier high school programs in the country and as a result has entered the Student Sports preseason poll as the No. 7 team in the country. One of the players leading the charge is running Jeramie Griffin and after an early commitment to Ole Miss, then a recent selection to the Clarion Ledger Dandy Dozen team, another school has begun to show interest. Who is the latest team to join the mix and how does he feel about it?
"The only other offer I got besides Ole Miss is Mississippi State," he said. "It came about a week ago. I haven't talked to them, but back in the spring a coach (Brick Haley) came by and watched practice.
"I got it in the mail. It just said I got a full scholarship. It felt pretty good. I felt I caught the attention of somebody else."
