Arkansas held a spirited and physical practice Tuesday during its 3:45 p.m. workout, and coaches were pleased with the focus, but injury news overshadowed the solid day of work.

Star sophomore tailback Darren McFadden was noticably disheartened when discussing the discomfort he was feeling after the removal of a pin in his left big toe. The pin, removed on Monday, was being used to stabalize the distal IP joint, dislocated during an off-the-field incident over three weeks ago. McFadden has been described as 'very doubtful' for the Southern Cal game by Arkansas coaches and trainors.
