Johnson will be at home opener

With the commitment of four-star cornerback Dionte Allen to Florida State this week, Michigan will be pressing even harder to find top caliber players for a position of need.

Muskegon, Mich., defensive back Ronald Johnson, the No. 2 cornerback in the country, has always been a top priority for the Wolverines and his interest level remains high.

There has not been much movement in Johnson's recruitment this summer. The five-star prospect is still looking at a wide range of schools.

Johnson plans to visit USC. Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan State, Tennessee, UCLA and Purdue are among others that are under consideration.
