Rivals100 athlete plans two OSU visits
Most high school football players heading into their senior seasons spend the summer fine-tuning their skills at their position in preparation for one final go-around. Joe Haden is not like most players.
After passing for 22 touchdowns and nearly 2,000 yards as a junior, Haden began to plan his future in football and decided that being a quarterback might not be in his best interests.
Still, the plan is for Haden to primarily play quarterback during the season. The lessons learned leading the offense will help him progress as a wideout, he said.
It's no wonder, then, that the Buckeyes are looking hard at Haden, who plans to graduate from high school this winter to get a better jump on college life. The athlete lists Ohio State as one of his top schools as well as one he plans to visit at least twice in the next few months.
