When Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech defensive tackle Joseph Barksdale (6-6, 325 pounds) explodes off the line, the sheer force and strength of the ensuing collision are so great that it has earned him a nickname from his teammates.

Barksdale has visited Texas, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, LSU, Tennessee and Illinois.

At last count he claimed over 80 scholarship offers from Division I-A schools.
