Does Auburn lead for Peach State o-lineman?
Gainesville, Ga., High's C.J. Wood is quickly making a case for himself being one of the top offensive lineman in the Peach State in the 2007 class. His performance at the Auburn camp in June did nothing but make it stronger.
Wood, a 6-foot-4, 275-pounder, was easily the top o-lineman on the Plains in a camp that featured many of the South's top linemen. His performance alone resulted in him picking up an offer from the Tigers shortly after it was over.
"The Auburn camp was a great experience. I had a lot of fun at that camp," said Wood. "(Offensive line) coach Hugh Nall told me afterwards that I could come to Auburn anytime I wanted. He said he really liked me, and I liked that."
