Rumors came out of the Illinois basketball camp at the Moody Bible Institute last week that Westchester (Ill.) St. Joe's guard Demetri McCamey would be visiting soon and was hoping to get an offer from Bruce Weber's Fighting Illini. On Tuesday, he was able to get to Champaign for his visit to see the campus and scrimmage with the players. So, did he get an offer?

"Yes, they offered me a scholarship," McCamey said.

With an Illinois offer now in hand McCamey still has the same list, but now has a new leader. The Illini move to the top of a list that includes Wake Forest, Indiana, DePaul and Michigan.
