Michigan quarterback making waves
In most any other year at the Michigan Summer Camp, the performance of Adrian, Mich., quarterback Steven Threet would easily be ranked the best of the week.
This was not like any other year, however, because Texas gunslinger and Michigan commit Ryan Mallett was also a camper. Instead of competing against one another, however, the two quarterbacks struck up a friendship.
At 6-6 and 225 pounds, Threet is one of the few quarterbacks nationally who can stack up to the 6-7, 235-pound Mallett physically. Their size also promotes great arm strength and while Mallett's arm is still otherwordly, Threet runs a pretty close second.
Threet currently holds offers from the likes of Illinois, Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, Stanford and NC State.
