Griffin brings athleticism to RB position
Ed Orgeron has proven he can recruit with the big boys of the SEC, turning in a top 20 national class last fall and now appears enroute to even a higher rated class in 2007.
One trademark of Orgeron's recruiting is that he and his staff recruits athletes who play multiple positions. They also recruit size and speed.
One commitment that fits that mold is South Panola's Jeramie Griffin. Griffin, a 6-foot-0, 230-pound running back that boasts 4.45 speed, showed recently at the Ole Miss camp that his talents aren't only running the football.
Griffin lined up during the high school team camp as his team's quarterback and took South Panola all the way to the game before the finals.
