Before attending QB 1 combine at Maine South (Ill.) last month, 6-foot-4, 220-pound Montini Catholic tight end/outside linebacker Tim Fugger was a relative unknown in recruiting circles. Things have changed drastically in the past few weeks.

Fugger reports that while he has no offers, Illinois and Kansas State are the two leaders. Vanderbilt, Northern Illinois, Minnesota, Purdue, Akron and Miami (Ohio) are also staying in contact.
