Cats, Cards could battle for Florida WR/CB
Arch-rivals Kentucky and Louisville mix it up more than once a year in football, often crossing paths on the recruiting trail in addition to their annual battle for the Governor's Cup.
Most of the prospects recruited by both the Cats and Cards come from inside the Commonwealth borders, but they also occasionally pop up on a national level.
Case in point: Jacksonville, Fla., Bolles wide receiver/defensive back Tray Herndon.
"It's kind of funny," Herndon said. "Two of my first offers both come from the state of Kentucky. Louisville has been recruiting me for quite a while, but Kentucky just started showing interest. They started coming on real strong two or three weeks ago. I guess it was after having a chance to see me at spring practice and then the Nike camp where I did real well. I just got an offer from them the other day."
