Rumph, Clemson offer fast N. Carolina athlete

TigerIllustrated.com After blowing up at the Clemson NIKE Camp on Sunday, Garner, NC defensive back and N.C. State soft verbal commit Chris Culliver is now holding another offer, a full ride from Clemson.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder turned plenty of heads in Clemson, running a blistering 4.37 in the 40-yard dash, while showing exceptional athletic ability and timing in one-on-ones, battling highly regarded wideouts such as Durham, N.C., Hillside athlete Greg Little, Charlotte, N.C., Olympic star Steven Howard and Greenwood standout Xavier Dye.
"I did okay, but it wasn't my best," Culliver told Tigerillustrated.com in a Wednesday night interview. "I have run a 4.27 before, but we had a state meet last Saturday, so my legs were tired. I'm better than a 4.37 for sure."
It was Culliver's first time visiting Clemson, but not likely his last.
