Lawrence hoping two skills will lead to offers
James Bryant
RebelGrove.com One area prospect is hoping that by possessing two skills, he'll land several offers.
Addison Lawrence of Magnolia Heights High School in Senatobia, Miss., is being recruited as a tight end and also a long snapper. Having a talent as a long snapper is a critical talent, which has provided several athletes throughout the years a way to attend the college.
"I'm a pretty good deep snapper, a lot of coaches seem excited to hear that I'm good in that area," Lawrence said. "I'm also being recruited as a tight end, although if I keep growing, I'm sure they would look at me as an offensive lineman."
Lawrence stands 6-foot-4, weighs 250 pounds, and runs the 40-yard dash in 5.0 seconds. He should have no problems qualifying academically with a 3.5 GPA and a 24 on the ACT.
Although Lawrence hasn't received an official offer yet, is currently being recruited by Ole Miss, MSU, USM, Houston, Georgia Tech, Memphis and Notre Dame.
