McCamey emerging as big time point

Peegs.com When we saw Demetri McCamey play a year ago he was tough and drew the attention of some Big Ten programs but he did so more from the wing spot. This spring has brought the revelation that directing a team may be where his future really lies.
"Last year I was more like a shooting guard, I really wanted to score," said McCamey. "This year I really want to get my teammates involved."
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound player hails from St. Joseph's High School in Westchester, Illinois, a Catholic school in the greater Chicago area. It probably rings a bell as it is the same program that brought several players to Indiana in the 1980's including Isiah Thomas, Daryl Thomas and Tony Freeman.
The Hoosiers joined a long list of suitors that have offered from elite conferences, including Wake Forest, DePaul, Virginia, Miami and Clemson.
