AuburnSports.com Memphis, Tenn., University School linebacker John Stokes had five scholarship offers as of last Monday.
By Wednesday, the 6-foot-5, 225-pounder had added two more.
"This last week Wake Forest and Auburn both offered me," said Stokes. "Auburn offered Tuesday night I think and Wake Forest offered on Wednesday."
Stokes already possessed offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Memphis, Stanford and Vanderbilt. The news of the Auburn offer came in a phone conversation with recruiting coach Terry Price.
